FAQ

Straight answers to the questions that matter.

What SEO costs, how long it takes, and how to tell an agency that earns links from one that buys them. If your question isn't here, ask us directly – a real person replies within 24 hours.

How long does SEO take to deliver results?

Meaningful movement typically starts within three to six months, with compounding returns after that. In our fashion ecommerce case study we excluded the first six months from the monthly ROI calculation entirely – strategy takes time to bed in.

Anyone promising page-one rankings in weeks is selling something else.

How much does SEO cost in the UK?

Serious agency engagements in the UK typically run from around £2,000 to £10,000+ per month, depending on scope and how competitive your market is.

For scale: our fashion ecommerce campaign cost £215,000 over 24 months – roughly £9,000 a month – and returned 918% ROI measured on organic revenue alone. Cheap SEO is usually expensive: bad links cost more to clean up than good ones cost to earn.

What is LLM optimisation?

LLM optimisation – also called AI optimisation (AIO) or generative engine optimisation (GEO) – is the practice of structuring content so AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini can discover it, understand it, and cite it in their answers.

In practice that means clear definitional statements, verifiable data, structured markup, and content that answers questions rather than merely targeting keywords. It matters because a growing share of searches now end in an AI answer instead of a results page: one of our clients now receives over 22,000 AI-referred sessions a month.

Can you guarantee rankings?

No – and you should be wary of anyone who does, because nobody controls Google's results or an LLM's answers.

What we can show is a track record: tens of thousands of page-one rankings across nearly two decades, and a verified case study that went from 11 page-one keywords to 178.

What's included in your SEO audit?

Four things: a technical audit covering architecture, crawlability, page speed, indexing and schema; competitor and search landscape analysis; a content and landing-page review; and a prioritised, actionable strategy.

Every engagement starts with it – request one here.

How do you measure SEO ROI?

Revenue from organic traffic only – excluding paid search, social media and affiliate traffic – measured against total fees. That's the methodology behind the 918% figure in our fashion case study, with metrics verified in July 2026.

If an agency's ROI number doesn't exclude paid channels, ask why.
